Position Overview
The School of Advanced Technology at Xi an Jiaotong-Liverpool University is seeking a highly qualified Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering to join our dynamic team. As a research-led university, we are committed to providing our students with a challenging and stimulating environment, as well as unlocking their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead research activities in the area of microelectronics, including publication of research articles, attendance of international conferences, and applications for research funding.
- Teach and mentor junior faculty members, providing guidance and support in their academic and research pursuits.
- Develop and implement curriculum design and programme development experience, with a focus on nanoelectronic materials and fabrication, microelectronic devices and circuits, and semiconductor science & technology.
- Engage with the professional community, participating in conferences and workshops, and contributing to the development of the field.
Requirements
- PhD degree in Microelectronics, or Semiconductor Material Science & Engineering or integrated circuit design & manufacturing or a related field.
- At least ten years of teaching/research experience in higher education, with a strong record of academic publications in excellent international journals.
- Supervised PhD students to completion, and have a successful record of research funding acquisition.
- Strong knowledge / experience in international higher education, and preferably hold the rank of Professor.
