**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Assistant to join our team at Phoenix Elementary School District #1. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of custodial duties to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of our schools and administrative buildings.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Perform custodial duties including cleaning, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing floors, walls, and ceilings
  • Operate mechanical equipment and perform minor repairs to furniture and fixtures
  • Assist with snow removal and grounds maintenance as needed
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

**Requirements:**

  • Basic knowledge of arithmetic, spelling, English, and grammar
  • Accuracy in checking and counting
  • Equivalent to high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of three months to one year of experience in general institutional housekeeping or equivalent combination of training and experience
