About the Role

The Operations Program Specialist (OPS) role at Roku is a critical position that supports the company's New Product Introduction (NPI) and Sustaining operations team. As an OPS, you will be responsible for driving material readiness and production lifecycle management (PLM) processes to ensure the successful launch of new products and the sustainment of existing ones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Engineering, and Procurement, to manage the planning and execution of new product development builds and sustaining operations.
  • Track readiness and risks, working with suppliers and internal teams to prioritize qualification efforts and identify technical and supply chain risks.
  • Manage readiness and qualification efforts with cross-functional teams and suppliers, driving product cost and margin improvements through process streamlining and material optimizations.
  • Lead sustaining operations efforts in support of retailer expansion and new SKU creation, managing post-launch ECO/MCO qualification, Top-Line Assembly (TLA) adjustments, and driving approval processes with internal and external teams.
  • Manage operations budget, vendor setup in NetSuite, and PR/PO approvals process.
  • Drive material readiness and CTB efforts for Operations-led factory readiness builds across Roku's first-party product lines.

Requirements

  • Proactive and highly self-motivated, with good critical thinking capabilities and strong attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented and attention to detail, with a high level of ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
  • Ability to react to resets and changes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong team player, demonstrating initiative to foster teamwork and collaboration.
  • Experience as primary point of contact with vendors and contract manufacturing partners.
  • Experience working with multiple different teams in a R&D environment.
  • Proficiency with Propel/Agile PLM, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Excel, Statistical SW (SPSS, SQL, etc.), or Database experience.
  • BA/BS degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 10%.
