Salary: An attractive salary of approximately 250,000 CNY per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications, plus benefits and bonuses.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Lead Science Educator and Department Head to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Science department, managing teaching staff, and overseeing curriculum development and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leadership and educational expertise, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Science department, including managing teaching staff and coordinating curriculum development and implementation.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve student outcomes and achievement in Science.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of Science education across the curriculum.
  • Provide guidance and support to teaching staff to enhance their practice and professional development.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure optimal use of school funds.

Requirements:

  • At least two years post-qualification experience and specific qualifications to support.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field.
  • PGCE or QTS, Teaching License from non-UK countries required.
  • A genuine interest in teaching and professional development.
  • Open-minded, patient, adventurous spirit, and professional flexibility.
  • Three years or more relevant teaching experiences.
  • Native English speaker.
  • TEFL, CELTA, or TESOL certificate.
  • Teachers' license obtained from English native-speaking countries preferred.
  • Teaching experiences in English native-speaking countries preferred.
