We are seeking an experienced Mathematics Educator to join our team as a Bilingual Teacher for a full-time Mathematics Position at an International School in Suzhou. This position will commence in August 2024.

About the School

The school is a pioneering K-12 institution in China, catering to the educational needs of returnees, overseas Chinese, and students seeking an internationalized Chinese education. Our school boasts small, bilingual classes with a maximum of 24 students, and we are the only IB World School in Suzhou accepting Chinese students.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and enriching Mathematics lessons to middle school students
• Prepare and design lessons, lectures, and assessments, as well as provide tutoring techniques and write report comments
• Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and enhance the school's curriculum
• Evaluate and monitor students' progress, setting targets for all learners to succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents or caregivers
• Create supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant subject
• Teaching certification
• At least two years of teaching experience in the subject
• Exceptional communication skills
• Fluency in both Chinese and English
