Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to join the Boeing Commercial Airplanes Supplier Quality team in Tianjin, China as a Supplier Quality Representative.

About the Role

The position requires implementation of supplier quality management processes, including assessment of supplier capability and capacity. You will manage supplier performance in technical areas of quality, performance, and work statement compliance to ensure that suppliers meet contractual, regulatory, and statutory requirements.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits and assessments of suppliers' systems, processes, and products.
  • Document audit and assessment results.
  • Inspect or verify products for compliance.
  • Monitor supplier quality-related activities and report issues.
  • Assist with assessments of supplier capability and capacity.
  • Provide supplier education and coaching on quality systems and regulatory compliance issues.
  • Investigate and resolve routine issues and concerns.
  • Work cross-functionally with multiple job disciplines.
Required Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related Science majors.
  • At least 3 years of experience working in the aerospace industry.
  • Knowledge of the Quality System (BQMS/AS9100/ISO9001).
  • Knowledge of composite process.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

Estimated Salary Range

Based on industry standards, the estimated annual salary range for this position in Tianjin, China is approximately ¥250,000 to ¥400,000.
