About the Role


Conduct in-depth analysis of major mutual funds and fund managers to identify investment opportunities.

Collaborate with the FOF investment team to review and refine the investment process in accordance with changing local regulatory and AIA requirements.

Oversee the FOF portfolio and ensure compliance with both internal governance and compliance and external regulations.

Develop and implement a comprehensive investment strategy to achieve FOF portfolio investment objectives in line with market dynamics.

Foster strong relationships with external and internal AIA China AMC counterparties and third-party professionals to facilitate investment transactions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct FOF portfolio investments in accordance with relevant investment policies and SOPs.
  • Ensure the achievement of multiple objectives and prudently follow all requirements of investment mandates, regulations, and compliance.
  • Conduct regular and deep research into tactical asset allocation and funds' performance, providing fundamental, quantitative, and strategic analysis on fund markets and fund manager updates.
  • Participate in regular FOF investment meetings to explore and discuss market dynamics, opportunities, and outlook.
  • Maintain contacts with funds and institutions.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Education – Master degree or equivalent experience and graduate from well-known university in China or overseas, in finance, economics, accounting, or business administration is preferred.
  • Experience – at least 6 years in equity investment field, of which 2 years in FOF investment field.
  • Professional Qualification – CPA/CFA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Bloomberg, Wind, and data tools for FOF investment.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Accountable, efficient, focused, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
  • Working across boundaries, communication, planning and organizing, problem-solving, business insight, people development.
  • Fast learner, proactive, and motivated with integrity and trustworthiness.
