Role Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Designer to join our team at Lenovo. As an Industrial Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and competitive product design solutions from concept generation to final production.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the product team to develop design concepts and ensure their manufacturability and functionality.
- Design and develop 2D and 3D sketches, renderings, and 3D models to visualize and communicate design concepts.
- Develop detailed product specifications, including materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes, in collaboration with the CMF team.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in industrial design with an impressive portfolio.
- Skilled with hand sketching or digital sketching, excellent 2D and 3D skills.
- Ability to create photorealistic renderings and knowledge of the design process.
- Ability to multi-task and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial/Product Design.
Additional Information
This role is based in Beijing, China, and requires a strong understanding of Lenovo's design principles and processes.
