Our premise products are Linux-based with Residential Gateway (RG), VoIP, IPTV, cloud management, SDN, GUI, Wi-Fi, IoT, and Ethernet OAM capabilities fully integrated on platforms that deliver from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps services. Our premise devices run on embedded Linux with multi-core processors, line rate switching, and embedded technologies from optical drivers to the latest in wireless.

We are seeking an experienced Frontend Developer based in Nanjing, China. In this role, you'll develop the Web for the home gateway, Wi-Fi routers within Calix Development Center Nanjing and U.S. sites. You must have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frontend framework, and working experience in responsive design.

Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain web pages for Calix gateways, Wi-Fi routers, and other premise products using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
* Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, provide suggestions, and contribute to advancing the company's expertise.
* Interact with backend systems to ensure seamless integration.
* Identify and communicate best practices for frontend engineering within the team.
* Develop efficiently to meet project plans and deadlines.
* Improve the existing codebase, architecture, and workflow.
* Support multiple languages, vendors, and product models for gateways, routers, and switches.
* Stay updated with the latest trends to enhance development efficiencies.

Basic Qualifications:

* MS/BS in Computer Science or a related field, with a strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
* Over 5 years of commercial frontend development experience.
* Expertise in HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, JavaScript, DOM, and proficiency in developing to W3C standards.
* Experience with frontend frameworks such as Bootstrap, AngularJS, and Vue.
* Proficiency in web development technologies, including version control systems (e.g., GIT, SVN), repositories, and build tools (e.g., Gulp, Grunt).
* Knowledge of frontend pre-processing tools like Sass and Less.
* Strong JavaScript debugging skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
