We are seeking a highly skilled Mathematics Teacher to join our team at a Bilingual middle school in Cixi, Ningbo. This is a full-time position starting in February or August 2024.

About the school

Our school is a day and boarding school for approximately 3500 enrolled students, aged 6 to 12 on average. We utilize a co-teacher arrangement and implement western education practices and methodologies.

Job responsibilities

  • Teach mathematics to middle school students and ensure an engaging and enriching learning experience
  • Prepare lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, design and correct assessments, and write report comments
  • Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and enhance the school's curriculum
  • Assess and monitor students' progress and provide targets for success and improvement
  • Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
  • Develop supportive and safe learning environments
  • Teaching week of 18 classes or less (with 40 min a class)

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
  • Teaching certificate
  • Two or more years relevant teaching experience in the subject
  • Excellent communications skills
