Position Overview:

The Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution, ensuring that cost, time, and quality standards are met while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage overall project activities and maintain communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Develop and distribute project organization and planning documents.
  • Facilitate project group definitions, design reviews, and necessary developments.
  • Organize and control the production and distribution of project documentation.
  • Identify, mitigate, and eliminate project risks proactively.
  • Analyze and address any customer complaints effectively.
  • Monitor purchasing plans to ensure alignment with project schedules and contractual requirements.
  • Participate in significant purchasing activities and negotiations.
  • Prepare contract status and cost reports, along with project cash flow tracking.
  • Oversee bookings and invoicing processes with customers and suppliers.
  • Manage the +/- list with customers and suppliers, including previews of potential liquidated damages.
  • Support or organize project commissioning, start-up, and guarantee runs.
  • Ensure thorough project closure activities and transition to the service department post-warranty period.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the pulp and paper industry, with a minimum of one year of relevant experience. A solid understanding of project execution and mechanical drawings is essential.

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required. Familiarity with ERP software, particularly SAP, and MS Office applications is also necessary.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent planning and organizational skills, a strong team spirit, and effective communication abilities with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
