Clinical Operations Program Director

The Clinical Operations Program Director plays a pivotal role in AbbVie's clinical research endeavors, serving as a strategic advocate for pipeline assets and driving the execution of clinical studies through innovative solutions and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute clinical operational strategies to maximize asset value and portfolio growth.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives, influencing all levels of management and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to portfolio planning, developing cost projections, resource allocation, and timelines for clinical development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, including ICH/GCP, Global Regulations, and AbbVie policies and procedures.
  • Develop, manage, and mentor clinical operations staff to enable growth into leadership roles.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a scientific field.
  • 12+ years of Pharma-related/clinical research experience, with 10 years in clinical research demonstrating leadership competencies.
  • Experience in risk management, decision-making, and strategic execution.
  • Good communication skills and successful coaching, mentoring, and people management experience.
  • Subject matter expertise in standard business procedures, including ICH, Global Regulations, and Ethics and Compliance.
