We are seeking a highly skilled Operational Readiness Specialist to join our team at State Street. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work in a fast-paced environment and be part of a global organization.



About the Role


The successful candidate will contribute to client implementations, providing operational readiness services that ensure seamless system integration and adoption.



Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and maintain an overall Operational Readiness framework, ensuring consistency and best practices across projects.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their operational requirements and provide trusted guidance on system implementation.
  • Maintain accurate operational readiness plans for each project, tracking progress against the original baseline.
  • Provide regular status updates to Project Managers on the progress, issues, and risks associated with the Operational Readiness workstream.
  • Manage the Green Light Criteria (GLC) process, including the maintenance of the GLC checklist.
  • Prepare and socialize various Operational Readiness artefacts, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate system user access processing and tracking, ensuring efficient system adoption.
  • Document and internalize joint Service Level Agreements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Plan and execute post-conversion support processes, ensuring smooth system transition.
  • Manage and track third-party communications, ensuring effective collaboration.
  • Coordinate user training, both internal and external, to ensure successful system adoption.
  • Work effectively with peers across the region and globally to achieve common goals.
  • Ensure that the business, systems, and clients are operationally ready prior to the go-live date.
  • Support Project Managers in managing Change Control and escalation procedures to limit scope creep.


About You


We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong project management skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to liaise between business/implementation and technology teams.



Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the financial industry, with knowledge of front office functionality, middle (IBOR) and back office systems, services, and data domains.
  • Prior experience leading large-scale client conversions and onboarding efforts in the financial industry.


Estimated Salary Range


$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
