About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Arrow Electronics, Inc. in CN-Xiamen, China.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that involves developing strategic plans for assigned accounts, selling and marketing Arrow's key supplier lines, and promoting value-added services. The ideal candidate will have experience interacting with vendors and customers in a technical environment, as well as a comprehensive understanding of pricing programs and models within the electronics industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow sales, demand creation, and improve customer service for assigned accounts.
  • Sell and market Arrow's key supplier lines, leveraging in-depth knowledge of supplier offerings.
  • Promote value-added services, including supply chain and full life cycle programs, to existing and potential customers.
  • Lead regular quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with major customers to unlock additional sales opportunities.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of related experience in sales or business development, preferably in the electronics industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze possible solutions using standard procedures.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to lead QBRs with major customers.
  • Proficiency in sales tracking systems, such as SalesForce.com and Oracle Establish.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or engineering.
