About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Transformer Design Engineer to join our team at HITACHI ENERGY SHANGHAI ELECTRICAL TRANSFORMER CO., LTD.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and develop dry transformers that meet our high standards of quality and performance.
  • Provide technical support to our Marketing and Sales teams to ensure our products meet customer needs.
  • Manage material costs for quotations and ensure accurate pricing.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues in our workshop and on-site.
  • Support design improvement projects to enhance our product offerings.
  • Live our core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions and caring for your colleagues and the business.

Your Background

  • You hold a bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering and Automation.
  • You have at least 5 years of working experience in a related field of engineering or R&D, with a preference for transformer design experience.
  • You are proficient in using CAD, ProE, and other drawing tools, as well as Excel, Word, and PPT.
  • You possess outstanding communication skills, are result-oriented, and capable of analyzing solutions.
  • You are a team player with high initiative, self-learning, and a pragmatic approach.
  • You have project management and time management skills, with a willingness to take challenges.
  • You have excellent English language skills in both oral and written communication.
