Novo Nordisk is seeking a talented Regional Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the Beijing region. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to drive growth, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and develop a high-performing sales team.

About the Role

The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that drives business growth in the Beijing region. This includes identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy that drives business growth in the Beijing region.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including heads of procurement and pharmacy directors.
  • Lead a high-performing sales team to achieve sales targets, including coaching, mentoring, and developing talent within the team.
  • Drive business development initiatives, including identifying new business opportunities and developing proposals to secure new business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer service, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of the Chinese pharmaceutical market and regulatory environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as medicine, pharmacy, or business administration.
