Job Overview

Responsibilities:

  1. Organize and facilitate Design Review (DR) and Design Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (DFMEA) reviews.
  2. Implement quality planning and controls for prototype and/or sample builds and manage build records and documents.
  3. Complete measurement system analysis for inspection systems and gages to be utilized for the project.
  4. Review and analyze samples, quality issues and improvement actions during developing stage.
  5. Involve and drive for design verification before design freeze and product qualification testing before Gate5 of project.
  6. Conduct and analyze process capability studies in support of Final Tool Approval (FTAR) for all tools and production lines associated with the project using the Comprehensive Tool Approval Report (CTAR).
  7. Implement quality controls and documentation needed for production shop floor.
  8. Monitor process capability and oversee ongoing corrective actions as required.
  9. Review and approve the measurement and cosmetic inspection.
  10. Support the customer and quality system audit as required

Requirements

Success in the role requires strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills, strategic analysis and planning capabilities involving complex situations, highly developed oral and written communication skills.

In addition, successful candidates will have the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

  1. At least Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
  2. Quality control experience in cable assembly / connector / Socket or relevant industry.
  3. Good written and oral English communication.
  4. Understand ISO9001 quality system.
  5. Be good at SPC, FMEA, MSA, and 7-QC tools.
  6. Experienced in Statistical Process control techniques.
  7. Understand Model Based Dimensioning (MBD) and requirements
  8. Understand GD&T definition and requirements.
  9. Be good at APQP procedure and requirements.
  10. Be familiar with EIA-364 test procedures.
  11. Ability to foster teamwork and internal and external relationships.
  12. Excellent organizational habits and priority management
  13. Customer focused with a commitment to quality.
