Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Medical Education Specialist to join our team at Abbott. This role will focus on delivering high-quality educational programs to healthcare professionals, driving the adoption of Abbott's advanced technologies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement educational programs for healthcare professionals, including on-site training and consultation sessions.
  • Work with external consultants and course instructors to ensure effective program delivery and high-quality surgical results.
  • Collaborate with Abbott's professional education team to plan and execute educational events, congresses, and symposia.
  • Document program outcomes, including participant feedback, surgical case data, and technology utilization rates.
  • Support the development of educational content, including workshops, training manuals, and online resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare or education, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in medical education or a related field.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and experience in cardiology, with a focus on electrophysiology and catheter ablation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and its applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field, such as healthcare or education.
  • Experience working with medical device companies, with a focus on education and training.
  • Knowledge of Abbott's products and technologies, with a focus on electrophysiology and catheter ablation.
  • Experience developing and delivering educational programs, including on-site training and online resources.
