Position Overview

We are pleased to offer a structured traineeship program designed for graduates from PRC law schools and junior legal professionals in China.

This traineeship typically spans a duration of two years and serves as a crucial step in acquiring the essential experience and training needed to advance to an associate or assistant role at Clifford Chance.

Throughout your traineeship, you will:

  • Participate in our comprehensive training curriculum, which includes lectures, workshops, and e-learning modules that leverage our local, regional, and global training resources.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across various practice areas to enhance your experience and assist you in determining your future specialization.

We select each trainee with the anticipation that they will evolve into associates or assistants within the Firm.

Qualifications

In addition to the personal qualities outlined in our recruitment brochure, candidates must possess:

  • A consistently strong academic performance
  • Proficient English language skills, both written and verbal
  • An LLB or LLM degree from a recognized PRC university
