Overview:

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Automation Controls Specialist. You will play a key part in supporting DCS project execution and collaborating with team leaders to accomplish all aspects' goals and objectives.

About the Job:

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with solid knowledge in automation controls and a good understanding of DCS projects. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to work well in a team environment, and have a strong ability to handle challenges.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To agree with Team Leader or above to achieve goals and objectives from Xi'an Engineering Center and Process Systems and Solutions China, and occasionally other goals not listed in the job description.
  2. Familiarize yourself with certain industries or domains and participate in team operations and project execution aspects through personal communication and partnership/collaboration.
  3. With Service Oriented mindset, grasp job knowledge and skills to accomplish each task in project execution, demonstrating a good ability to handle challenges.
  4. Participate in project execution based on EPM project Roles and Responsibilities in Emerson PMO PM-PMP-ST, being aware of Result Oriented and analyzing issues by showing vision and strategic thinking.
  5. Conduct detailed design of software.
  6. Implement software.
  7. Conduct integral testing of software.
  8. Document design.
  9. Check design documentation.
  10. Check implementation software.
  11. Implement quality procedures such as configuration management.
  12. Align with good behavior and performance of project execution to achieve operational excellence goals and objectives (like continuous improvement, procedure optimization) dynamically.
  13. Coordinate with Lead Engineer/Project Manager or above to strive to achieve EPM and Emerson Xi'an Engineering Center's vision, mission, and strategy (like productivity in PERFECT EXECUTION).

About You:

The ideal candidate has gained insight into customer needs and can effectively communicate in various settings. You create teamwork allowing others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or above, major in Automatic Control, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
  2. Above 5 years working experience in instrument and automatic control industries, foreign company working experience is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Will to long-term travel (sometimes due to emergencies and requiring temporary notice).
  2. Excellent Visual Basic and iFix skills are preferred.
  3. Excellent computer literacy, fluent in oral and written English skills.
  4. Excellent Get Result/Accountability, Analyzes Issue, and Service Oriented.
  5. Familiar with Partnership/Collaboration and Communication.
  6. Handling Challenges with strong Quality Commitment awareness.
  7. Good Leadership, and People Empowerment/Motivation.
  8. Understanding/Acceptance of BUs' Vision, Mission, Strategy; and applying it to daily work.
