About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Buyer, Direct Spend to join our team at INEOS Styrolution. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing raw materials and related services to support our production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and negotiate purchasing plans with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and services.
- Exercise robust control of raw materials stock levels to meet production demands.
- Collaborate with suppliers, plant site staff, and commercial and technical support teams to resolve supply chain issues.
- Lead and participate in cross-functional strategic projects to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.
- Generate Contract Review and Approval Forms (CRAFs) and SAP Outline Agreements (OLAs) to obtain approvals for supply of raw materials.
- Maintain SAP/Coupa Vendor Master data and generate Purchase Orders (if needed) to secure raw materials for each site.
Requirements:
- University graduate in business major.
- At least 6 years of working experience in purchase and logistics in relative area.
- Experience in SAP operation.
- 6 years or more work experience in chemicals purchasing field is preferred.
- Familiar with international trade and global purchasing experience.
Technical Skills:
- Above average computer skills with SAP, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Fluent English in speaking and writing.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Competencies and Behavioral Skills:
- Negotiation skills.
- Analytical thinking.
