Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Lifting Specialist to join our team at GK International. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all lifting activities related to construction projects, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and promoting a strong safety culture on site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee lifting activities, including risk assessment and hazard identification.
  • Provide expertise in daily handling and lifting activities, including categorization of lifts.
  • Perform inspections of lifting equipment and lifting gears/appliances.
  • Assist in the development and review of lifting plans and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company QHSE policies, regulations, and standards.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the lifting and handling industry at a supervisory level.
  • Experience in Oil and Gas industry and its lifting requirements.
  • Topsides and Jackets construction experience is a must.
  • Hold technical or engineering qualifications such as OPITO/LEEA/EAL/CPA/LOLER, etc.
  • Broad and extensive knowledge in handling and lifting appliances and operations.
  • Good knowledge of international standards such as BS7121-1 & 3/BS EN 14439:2006/ASME B30, ISO 53.020.
  • Ability to perform risk assessment in relation to health, safety, and environment.
  • Full-time supervising critical lifts.
  • Experience in training and coaching is preferred.
  • Good English level mandatory, Mandarin language is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with Document Control Software.
