Supplier Quality Management Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, refine, and enhance the procedures for material inspection and ensure compliance with established guidelines.
  • Proactively identify potential nonconformities in incoming materials and facilitate effective communication.
  • Oversee and assess the quality of incoming materials, addressing issues while collecting and analyzing relevant data.
  • Engage in supplier development, evaluation, approval, rejection, and enhancement initiatives.
  • Implement and optimize methods and documentation for process quality control.
  • Monitor, execute, and report on supplier quality performance metrics.
  • Continuously improve and update the operational guidelines for material inspection and related documentation, ensuring systematic archiving and effective implementation.
  • Conduct relevant quality activities to ensure the effectiveness of material inspection processes.
  • Maintain communication and reporting with headquarters regarding supplier quality management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience in the power industry or transformer manufacturing, particularly in external design, processes, or quality aspects.
  • Knowledge of quality management principles, including quality management systems, supply chain management, and quality tools such as ISO 9001, supplier audits, quality control, and statistical analysis.
  • Familiarity with transformer manufacturing processes and relevant technical standards, capable of assessing and managing the quality of supplier-provided products.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Proficient in English, with good listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
