The Yankee Candle team is seeking a dedicated Analyst to support our Responsible Sourcing program. This role is pivotal as we transition from traditional auditing to a focus on enhancing supplier performance in areas such as social responsibility, labor rights, environmental stewardship, and sustainability within our global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough supplier audits, including post-audit verifications and unannounced visits to active vendors, prioritizing key suppliers across various business units.
  • Coordinate SCAN audits for active suppliers and ensure effective follow-up on their Corrective Action Plans (CAPA); manage the documentation process by uploading audit reports to the designated system.
  • Collaborate closely with the team manager and other functional units within the Responsible Sourcing team to streamline processes and utilize updated assessment tools for actionable reporting.
  • Assist in onboarding new vendors as requested by business teams, utilizing historical audit reports and following managerial guidance.
  • Support the team manager in evaluating the performance of service providers to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Work alongside data management teams to provide updates and actionable plans to business units regarding vendor performance and capacity building.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required within the vendor resilience team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (preferably in Engineering or Business).
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in supporting factories with social compliance, labor rights, and health & safety performance improvements in the global supply chain.
  • Experience in managing social compliance and responsible sourcing programs.
  • 3 to 5 years of project management experience with a proven track record.
  • Understanding of production processes, including management systems and HR practices.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficient in English communication, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of data management and control practices.
