Job Overview

LumosCareer is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary English Teacher to join our educational team. As a Primary English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging English language lessons to students aged 2-6 years old.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Development: Plan and implement English language curricula that align with the kindergarten's educational goals.

  • Classroom Management: Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages social and emotional development.

  • English Language Instruction: Utilize various teaching methods to enhance students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in English.

  • Assessment and Reporting: Monitor and document students' progress, provide feedback to parents, and participate in parent-teacher conferences as needed.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with other kindergarten teachers and assistants to ensure an integrated and cohesive approach to early childhood education.

  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional learning and development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field. TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in early childhood settings, preferably in international or bilingual kindergartens.

  • Language: Native or near-native English speaker.

  • Skills: Strong understanding of child development and early learning principles, excellent classroom management and communication skills, creative, energetic, and patient with a passion for working with young children, and ability to adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.
