About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team at Four Seasons Hotel Hangzhou at West Lake. This is a key role that requires a strong leader who can ensure that culinary activities and standards align with our corporate guidelines and hotel concept.
The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and adhering to hotel specifications and standards, ensuring that they are introduced, implemented, and consistently maintained. They will also be responsible for supervising cooking and other kitchen personnel, coordinating their assignments to ensure economical and timely food production.
Responsibilities- Prepare and update individual Departmental Operations Manual.
- Ensure employees provide excellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.
- Maximize employee productivity through multi-skilling, multi-tasking, and flexible scheduling to meet financial goals and guest expectations.
- Serve fresh food to guests prepared a la minute, consistent in quality, and reflecting the style of the outlet concept.
- Supervise cooking and other kitchen personnel, coordinating their assignments to ensure economical and timely food production.
We require a minimum of 7 years' experience in a related position, preferably within the Four Seasons or similar organization. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of the Food & Beverage aspect of Four Seasons services, policies, or operations, as well as general knowledge of the hotel. Proficiency in reading, writing, and oral communication in both Chinese and English is essential.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary range: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including excellent training and development opportunities, complimentary accommodation at other Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, dry cleaning for employee uniforms, and employee meals.
This is a full-time position, with primarily department-based working hours, ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
