eChinaCareers is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Primary Education Specialist to join our team at an international school in Xian, China.

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Educational Programs: Create and implement library programs that support the school's curriculum, ensuring alignment with IB standards.
- Support Student Research and Literacy Skills: Assist students in developing research and information literacy skills, enabling them to effectively utilize various resources.
- Organize and Maintain Library Collections: Oversee the cataloging and circulation of library materials, ensuring they are easily accessible to students and staff.
- Promote Reading and Literacy: Organize events and activities to promote reading and literacy among students, collaborating with teachers to integrate library services into the curriculum.
- Digital Literacy Instruction: Provide instruction on digital literacy, including the use of online databases and research tools, to ensure students have the necessary skills to succeed in an increasingly digital world.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher: Hold a bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field.
- Teaching Experience: Possess at least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Certifications and Qualifications: Hold current teaching certifications or a bachelor's degree in education.
- IB Program Knowledge: Demonstrate a good understanding of the IB Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent English communication skills, essential for effective collaboration with colleagues and students.
