Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic recruitment plans to attract and retain top talent in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Attraction and Employer Branding
- Develop and implement a regional talent acquisition and employer branding strategy to enhance our employer value proposition.
- Ensure a seamless candidate experience through all recruitment and selection cycle touch-points.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Cathay Pacific, promoting our regional employee value proposition to attract top talent.
- Build relationships with relevant stakeholders to strengthen our employer branding in the region.
- Manage talent pools to create a pipeline of candidates for future roles.
Recruitment and Selection Process Excellence
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from requirement discussion to on-boarding.
- Develop commercially focused, brand-enhancing assessment and selection processes.
- Be an expert in various recruitment approaches and processes, including the adoption of new tools and technology.
- Effectively prioritize roles and optimize time-to-fill.
- Review job descriptions and ensure job advertisements meet local regulations.
- Provide expertise in interpreting test results, shortlists, interviews, and assessment centre performance.
- Conduct full reference and background checks to ensure high-quality hires.
- Lead the offer process, including salary negotiation.
On-boarding and Off-boarding
- Ensure an engaging on-boarding process that brings the Cathay Pacific brand to life.
- Monitor regulatory training completion and eLearning activities.
- Manage a smooth off-boarding process that leaves a positive lasting impression.
Requirements
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a relevant discipline.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experiences
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in HR, with at least 4 years in recruitment.
- Experience leading high-volume recruitment activity.
- Experience running competency-based and technical interviews.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin.
- Strong influencing skills and stakeholder engagement and management ability.
- Strong planning skills with high attention to detail.
- High energy and motivational style.
- Strong cultural sensitivity and respect.
- Efficient and able to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
