Execute pertinent activities and deliver expert guidance for service provision within one's area of expertise, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints and contractual obligations. Generate outputs within established parameters, conforming to specified formats, and fulfilling deadlines, budget, and quality expectations. Engage in discussions and present outputs to both internal and external stakeholders, providing appropriate solutions when necessary. Conduct tasks in line with internal protocols, accreditation standards, legislation, and industry norms. Commit to Continuous Professional Development to uphold a high standard of discipline, knowledge, and awareness. Evaluate and suggest suitable time and value for work performed for external clients, aiding in determining the most appropriate fee and cost structure. Offer mentorship to other team members as required, promoting effective knowledge transfer and application. Contribute to enhancing service delivery by relaying feedback from internal and external clients as applicable. Perform routine administrative duties as necessary, adhering to current processes and procedures.What you bring to the table
A degree or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution in the relevant field of engineering or physical sciences. The degree program should have been a minimum of two years in duration. Alternatively, qualifications from a marine or nautical institution along with relevant sea-going experience as a certified ship's officer will also be considered. Membership in a relevant professional organization. Progressing towards or achieving Chartered or Incorporated Engineering status. Compliance with professional codes of conduct and the LR Code of Ethics in IMS01. The ability to utilize a blend of general and specialized engineering knowledge and understanding to apply both existing and emerging technologies. Capability to implement suitable theoretical and practical approaches to design, develop, manufacture, construct, commission, operate, and maintain engineering products, processes, systems, and services. Proficiency in technical and commercial management, including project and process management. Proficiency in the English language that is appropriate for the nature of the work.About us
