We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Hyatt Corporation.
About the RoleThis is a key role within Human Resources, responsible for developing and implementing training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees. The successful candidate will work closely with departmental managers to identify training needs and develop customized solutions.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions. They will also be proficient in creating training materials and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and maintenance of a detailed Department Operations Manual that reflects policies, procedures, and standards of performance within the division.
- Ensure annual review to accurately reflect any changes.
- Prepare the annual Human Resources Business Plan, ensuring divisional objectives fully address business objectives of the hotel and needs of associates.
- Manage and regularly review the compilation and accuracy of the Departmental Operations Manuals, Associate Task Lists, and Task Breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of all associate training.
- Responsible for the security and maintenance of the Hotel's Training Room, training equipment, and materials.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within a hotel or hospitality organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in designing and delivering engaging training sessions.
- Ability to create training materials and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Familiarity with Hyatt Corporation's policies and procedures.
$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
