About the Role
We are seeking a talented algorithm engineer to join our team at eBay Engineering & Research, where you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge machine learning projects that improve the eBay search experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop machine learning algorithms and systems to improve eBay search results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning solutions into eBay's search infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligence, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation in our search and recommendation systems.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data mining, machine learning, or a related field.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Hadoop or Spark.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
