Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the installed base of regulatory and advanced control schemes to ensure high reliability and good availability.
  • Optimize control systems, applications, and information systems, including systems configuration, performance monitoring, and reporting.
  • Manage safety Instrumented system issues related to control and safety system hardware and software.
  • Provide engineering support for post-project activities involving control and/or safety system configuration, hardware upgrades/installation, and control scheme implementation.
  • Ensure projects have relevant documentation available and necessary maintenance contracts are in place.
  • Investigate and analyze the root cause of any breakdown of the plant and implement action plans.
  • Minimize overall maintenance cost while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement preventive/predictive maintenance scheduling.
  • Manage spare parts preparation and procurement.
  • Develop standard maintenance procedures.
  • Examine and approve maintenance final accounts for contractors.
  • Execute projects and/or support project functions for projects by project execution.
  • Create workflows and technical objects through SAP for all maintenance tasks.
  • Keep documentation updated.
  • Issue work permits according to Wacker site regulation.

Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of experience in instrumentation and control in the chemical industry or relevant working experience.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Proficient in Siemens PLC programming, HIMA, and Siemens DCS.
  • Familiar with schematic wiring and P&I diagrams.
  • Good experience in project involvement.
  • Urgency of action and good team player.
  • Good budget preparation and spare parts management skills.
  • Strong learning and independent working ability.
  • Good English reading skill, good spoken English an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
