Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at Maersk in Xi'an, China. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of terminal tractors manufactured at our partner facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily inspections of terminal tractors to ensure compliance with project technical specifications, design drawings, and industry standards.
  • Assist the Head of QA Department in finalizing the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for the Terminal Tractor project.
  • Monitor and report any Non-Conformance in cases of major deviation from Contract, Specification, Design, or Standards.
  • Participate in supplier audit and quality management meetings.
  • Properly file all QA records and documents and submit them to the Head of QA Department as required.
  • Prepare project QA reports and submit to CES Project Manager(s) on a required basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection within the heavy vehicle industry or specifically terminal tractor manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in maintenance and operation of terminal tractors in a terminal environment is highly valued.

Working Conditions

The primary work location will be Xi'an, China. In some cases, the Quality Inspector may be required to work at suppliers' and/or terminal sites, both within and outside China. This will necessitate domestic or international business travel.
