Key Responsibilities

As a Scientific Laboratory Specialist at Imerys, you will support engineers and scientists in conducting solvent-based paint coating, adhesive, and plastics process and performance evaluation.

  • Assist engineers/scientists in solvent-based paint coating, adhesive, and plastics process and performance evaluation
  • Support engineers/scientists in minerals pre-processing, testing, and analysis
  • Independently complete daily experiments using proven SOP/testing methods
  • Summarize and analyze testing results, producing a testing report
  • Calibrate equipment, conduct regular lab safety audits, and ensure efficient equipment usage
  • Work independently and successfully complete tasks under guidance
  • Utilize standard instruments and new equipment, and improve standard equipment to meet new test requirements
  • Standardize lab workflows and complement equipment operation procedures
  • Maintain all lab safety critical rules
