Candidate Profile

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to fill this role. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 4 years of experience in the food and beverage or culinary industry.

Core Work Activities

Managing Day-to-Day Room Service Operations

The Sky Bar Manager will be responsible for supervising and managing employees, ensuring that all day-to-day operations are running smoothly. This includes understanding employee positions well enough to perform duties in their absence, ensuring that property policies are administered fairly and consistently, and communicating areas in need of attention to staff.

Leading Room Service Team

The Sky Bar Manager will lead and motivate the Room Service team to provide exceptional customer service. This includes utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others, advocating sound financial and business decision making, and demonstrating honesty and integrity.

Room Service Financial and Budgeting Goals

The Sky Bar Manager will be responsible for comprehending budgets, operating statements, and payroll progress reports to assist in the financial management of the department. This includes participating in the management of departmental controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.

Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service

The Sky Bar Manager will provide services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention. This includes improving service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed.

Conducting Human Resource Activities

The Sky Bar Manager will identify the developmental needs of others and coach, mentor, or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge or skills. This includes identifying the educational needs of others, developing formal educational or training programs or classes, and teaching or instructing others.

Additional Responsibilities

The Sky Bar Manager will provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, email, or in person. This includes analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
