Electrical Safety Leadership

As an Ex Lead Inspector at SBM Offshore, you will be responsible for ensuring the electrical safety of our installations and equipment. This includes leading a team of inspectors to verify compliance with IEC 60079 and the Ex Integrity Assurance Plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of inspectors to ensure electrical safety compliance
  • Verify IEC 60079 and Ex Integrity Assurance Plan compliance
  • Provide leadership and motivation to the team
  • Responsible for inspection and verification of Ex registers
  • Provide Ex installation surveillance
  • Follow the Project-specific Ex integrity Assurance plan
  • Supervise all Ex Inspection activities
  • Check and verify Electrical Construction Ex Inspection and Test Records

Requirements

  • Field/site experience leading teams interfacing with shipyards and clients
  • Valid certificates: COMPEX Ex 01-04 or IECEx COPC or EEHA (AS/NZS 60079 & AS/NZS 4761)
  • Minimum 10 years experience in construction quality disciplines, fabrication, or construction
  • Minimum 5 years experience managing a team
