Overview

Innomotics Electrical Large Drives (Shanghai) Ltd. is a global leader in designing and manufacturing large drives solutions. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Expert to join our team.

About the Role

This is a highly technical position responsible for designing mechanical components and systems for large drives. The successful candidate will have strong skills in 3D design software, such as UG, SolidWorks, Pro_E, and experience in mechanical parts features and manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Design converter orders with special mechanical requirements, including 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical parts and system assembly drawings.
  • Provide manufacturing support and problem-solving for converters.
  • Develop mechanical designs for product maintenance, including design improvements and cost reductions.
  • Evaluate mechanical solutions for technical quotations and support other departments as needed.
  • Execute material creation, design control, engineering change requests, and other engineering-related processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical design or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience with 3D design software.
  • Familiarity with mechanical parts features and manufacturing, such as metal, busbar, insulation, and medium-voltage products.
  • Excellent communication and responsibility skills.
  • Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
