A Day in the Life of an Investment Compliance Analyst, Officer

You will engage in various projects, special analysis and initiatives relating to technical aspects of the business under supervision of a Manager. You will be responsible for evaluating developments' continuing effectiveness and accuracy, initiating remedial action as necessary, reviewing documentation to ensure it exists for any client-specific procedures and leading development, testing and implementation of new systems and products.

You will also act as central point of contact for technical issues encountered in the daily business, contribute to analysis and planning of Operating Model with the aim of standardizing processes and establishing best practice and work closely with Training Department and business lines to identify training needs within the team.

You will review and assist the work of others, liaise with other internal clients and supporting departments for the purpose of obtaining key inputs to service delivery, resolving errors and discrepancies and act as Supervisor in the organization of the team and in ensuring that departmental procedures and controls are adhered to.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills, a strong numeracy and literacy skills, excellent computer skills including knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and database applications and proficiency with investment compliance monitoring system.

You should have a degree in Accountancy/Business/Science related field (preferred), 3+ years of experience in investment compliance, 4+ years of proven experience with MQL or SQL coding and a thorough understanding of departmental compliance platform is required.
