Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Development Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development of new products from the engineering stage to mass production, ensuring that they meet the company's quality and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective technical communication with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product development and launch.
- Lead the development of new products, including defining project timing, tasks, resources, and deliverables in accordance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that new prototypes and subcomponents meet the required specifications, including materials, dimensions, functionality, and durability testing.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, specifications, and prototype control plans, ensuring alignment with company standards and strategy.
- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams, ensuring the quality of technical documents and resolving any product-related issues.
- Work closely with the quality department to investigate and resolve product abnormalities and reliability failures.
- Serve as a technical resource to other functional areas, providing expertise and guidance as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant field, such as mechanical, electrical, or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in product development and manufacturing.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the semiconductor equipment assembly industry.
- Familiarity with industry standards and processes related to equipment assembly.
- Excellent technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
- Fluent English and Mandarin verbal and written communication skills.
