Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Assembly Technology Engineer to join our team at Bosch. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for developing and improving assembly and testing technology for new products and applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve assembly and testing technology for new RBCD products and applications, including screwing, press-in, roll-to-roll, and function testing processes.
  • Build up new knowledge and expertise in assembly and testing processes.
  • Transfer knowledge and coach colleagues and new employees.
  • Support series production for cost reduction, quality improvement, and technological problem-solving projects.
  • Lead complex manufacturing process development and optimization projects in RBCD.
  • Develop and carry out process trainings, including related training materials.
  • Build and maintain a robust network with local and overseas IPN partners for continuous improvement of technology.
  • Provide robust, capable, and cost-competitive manufacturing technology for new RBCD products before SOP.
  • Define standard trial plans, process parameters, and release procedures.
  • Set up and maintain process data sheets for technology.
  • Actively propose and pursue improvement activities for output increase, cycle time, and scrap reduction, quality improvement, and process capability enhancement.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • 5 years of working experience and specialist knowledge in assembly and testing technology.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, and C#.
  • Basic knowledge of electric powertrain systems and components.
  • Sound understanding of Bosch quality methods.
  • Very good analytical skills.
  • Competent project management skills.
