Associate Professor/Professor in Environmental/Sustainable Design Expert

We are seeking an exceptional Associate Professor/Professor in Environmental/Sustainable Design to join our esteemed faculty at Xi an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. As a key member of our Design School, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of sustainable design education and research.
Responsibilities- Deliver research-informed teaching in environmental design, guiding students through key topics such as climate-responsive architecture, life-cycle sustainability, thermal comfort, and strategies for both passive and active thermal, ventilation, and lighting systems.
- Contribute to fostering research and collaboration across the School and the broader University, leading initiatives that bridge theoretical knowledge with practical design innovation.
- Engage in cross-disciplinary teaching and research activities, and participate in departmental activities and administrative life.
- Develop and lead research projects, innovations, and publications, or engage in architectural practice or art in architecture, with a focus on environmental design.
- Provide academic mentoring to students and contribute to the development of the department's teaching agenda regarding sustainable design.
- PhD in Architecture with a minimum of 7 years of academic experience and excellence in academic achievements.
- Fluent in English.
