Job Title: OT GTS Specialist

Avery Dennison Smartrac is seeking a highly skilled OT GTS Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for supporting business manufacturing applications and infrastructure, providing expert advice on life cycle management for infrastructure and manufacturing applications, and proposing smart solutions to improve our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day systems support and maintenance of service levels
  • Expertise in maintaining systems infrastructure and recovery methods for systems running MS Windows, MSSQL, VMware, LAN devices, Databases, and applications processes
  • Advisor on new technologies and systems infrastructure
  • Performs systems upgrades for security, problem-solving reasons, and other purposes
  • Conducts disaster recovery in accordance with existing procedures
  • Provides third-level support and advanced analysis
  • Provides time estimates for resolution of problems
  • Organizes or contributes to projects
  • Prioritizes tasks needed for project completion
  • Adheres to IS standards, including change management standards
  • Keeps up to date with corporate IT security and privacy regulations and applies where appropriate
  • Executes configuration and capacity management of IT infrastructure
  • Maintains infrastructure for automated monitoring or procedures for manual monitoring
  • Instructs outsource partners as part of change management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree with 6 years of experience, or Master's degree with 3 years of experience (preferred in the manufacturing environment)
  • Skilled at evaluating options and generating solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Dynamic, results-oriented problem solver
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in English
Travel Requirements:

Ability to travel to support when needed; 20% - 30% travel
