A&H Underwriter

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our China A&H underwriting team. As an Underwriter, you will be responsible for managing A&H related quotations, working with internal and external channels to achieve business targets, and collaborating with internal functions to ensure quotation TAT are met.

• Manage A&H related quotations, including risk assessment, underwriting, and pricing.
• Work with internal and external channels to achieve A&H topline and bottom-line business targets.
• Collaborate with internal functions to ensure quotation TAT are met.
• Assist in managing underwriting operational processes and improving operational efficiencies.
• Define and manage underwriting risk appetite towards A&H products within the China market.

• Demonstrated underwriting experience, preferably with a focus on Group PA and Business Travel products.
• Colleague degrees with underwriting or actuarial credentials are a plus.
• Prior experience working in an insurance business development role is a plus.
• Experience working with different channels, including Agent/Broker/Direct channels.
• Experience working in a fast-paced and bilingual environment.
• Good presentation skills and comfortable with internal and external client presentations and frequent travel.
• Self-starter and disciplined, comfortable working in a remote environment from time to time.
