F&B Captain

Job Title: F&B Captain Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced F&B Captain to join our team at Amanjena Marrakech in Morocco. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring that their dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. Responsibilities: • Engage and excite guests in all F&B areas, providing excellence of service in line with luxury standards and Aman philosophy • Work to the best of your ability and set an example to other staff • Notify your Supervisor/Manager immediately of hazards, injuries, or equipment damage/breakage assistance needed • Keep all service areas adequately stocked with necessary equipment during and after service hours • Maintain sufficient supplies of stock to ensure smooth operations • Ensure restaurants are well prepared to receive guests, with correct lighting, background music, and a clean and well-maintained facility • Report and follow up on any maintenance or cleaning requirements • Take care of unwanted loiterers in the restaurant • Familiarize yourself with today's reservations to ensure guests are properly met upon arrival and departure • Greet guests pleasantly and courteously, and bring them to their seats quickly and efficiently • Familiarize yourself with the menu and products, present and recommend menus, and repeat orders • Observe guests' experiences in the restaurant and anticipate their needs • Prioritize guests at all times • Adhere to outlet sequence of service • Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests • Promote positive guest relations at all times • Access all functions of the MICROS system, cashiering-related duties, and payment handling procedures in accordance with specifications Qualifications: • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a luxury hotel or resort and well-trained in F&B operations • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and creative skills • Ability to perform under pressure • Fluent Mandarin and proficient in English communication • Eligible to work in Shanghai
