Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Supply Chain Optimization Expert to join our team at Adidas.

About the Role

This is a key position that will play a critical role in driving performance improvements and securing the best availability for the business within given cost constraints. As a Global Supply Chain Optimization Expert, you will be responsible for converting demand into supply and providing actionable insights while supporting the creation and deployment of innovative planning solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performance Enhancement: Drive performance improvements by addressing key drivers, communicating success, initiating and coordinating escalations, creating visibility on market projected availability, and inventory performance. Translate commercial needs related to availability and inventory into supply chain requirements/solutions and manage risk/opportunities related to availability and inventory.
  • Monitor BU/Channel/BM Performance: Perform root-cause analysis, identification of drivers and trends, highlight risks and opportunities based on analysis, and ensure preparation for Business Control activities (D&S, Launch, NOS & TW S&OP meetings).
  • Coordinate and Execute: Coordinate and execute performance improvements across teams: AF escalation, early call-off, other exceptions.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge Skills and Abilities: Service-minded and consumer/customer-oriented, team player, analytical thinking and ability to solve problems, comfortable with learning internal systems such as Supply Chain Planning and Execution software applications, good knowledge of MS Office and SAP, fluent in English.
  • Requisite Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in supply chain management or in the areas of business administration, logistics, planning, information systems. Master's degree is a plus. 1-3 years of experience in supply chain management, operations or planning, preferably in the Accessories, Apparel or Footwear industries.
Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications.
