About This Opportunity

eChinaCareers is seeking a highly qualified Economics and English Educator to join our team at a reputable high school in Shenzhen. As a full-time teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of your students and contribute to the school's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create engaging lesson plans and instructional materials to teach English and economics to high school students, adhering to the American Common Core framework.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to adapt curriculum to meet the needs of each student.
  • Evaluate student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare comprehensive progress reports.
  • Maintain open communication with parents, addressing their concerns and keeping them informed about their child's academic performance.
  • Collaborate with school administrators and peer teachers to achieve shared goals and improve overall educational standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development sessions to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices.
  • Assist in coordinating events and activities within and outside the school premises, as required.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in US curriculum settings.
  • Additional preference given to candidates with experience teaching English Language Learners.
