Job Overview
Bosch is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to our worldwide industrialization programs. This role will involve ensuring the quality of machine concept and design, as well as communicating with other departments and external suppliers to transfer mechanical information.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the quality of machine concept and design to meet Bosch's high standards.
- Communicate effectively with other departments and external suppliers to transfer mechanical information.
- Identify technical risks and develop risk mitigation measures.
- Design and create non-standard machine mechanical designs, 3D/2D drawings, and BOMs.
- Support machine assembly, commissioning, ramp up, and problem-solving efforts.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree or above in automation engineering, mechanical engineering, production engineering, or a related field. You should also have deep experience in special machine mechanical design, familiarity with 2D and 3D CAD tools, and good communication and teamwork skills.
