EAL Instructor

Position Overview

We are seeking an EAL Instructor for a prominent international educational institution. This role involves engaging with secondary school students to foster a rich and interactive learning environment.

About the Institution

This esteemed international school features multiple educational stages, including early years, primary, middle, and high school. It offers both Cambridge International Curriculum and British National Curriculum programs, supported by a spacious and well-equipped campus that includes various specialized areas such as a Music and Dance studio, a Library and Information Centre, an Art room, laboratories, a soccer pitch, and recreational spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver EAL English instruction to secondary school learners, ensuring a stimulating and supportive educational experience.
• Design and prepare lesson plans, implement tutoring strategies, create and evaluate assessments, and provide constructive feedback on student reports.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance and develop the institution's curriculum.
• Monitor and assess student progress, setting achievable targets to promote success and improvement.
• Offer clear and constructive feedback to students and their families.
• Create a nurturing and secure learning atmosphere.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• A valid teaching certification.
• A minimum of two years of teaching experience in the subject area.
• Exceptional communication skills.
