Main Responsibilities:
As a NC Surveyor with Bureau Veritas Group, you will conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and our Safety Absolutes and Code of Ethics. You will propose solutions or facilitate the resolution of problems encountered during the building process, ensuring reporting in accordance with company requirements and timescales to achieve targets. You will also pursue Continuous Professional Development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness, keeping good communications and good relationships with clients.

Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor degree in Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering / Mechanical engineering or equivalent level of qualification, relevant sea-going experience as a certificated ship's engineer officer, and at least 5 years professional experience in a similar or related field. You should be fluent in English, both written and spoken, and possess excellent communication skills. You will work under pressure and independently, committed to constant improvement and the ability to implement changes as required. You should be commercially aware and willing to travel and work out of base city.
