Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced R&D/Product Development Engineer II to join our team in Japan. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and designing high-voltage connectors and related products for the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design high-voltage connectors and related products for the automotive industry
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and reliability
- Conduct technical discussions with customers and suppliers to ensure product meets their requirements
- Participate in product development projects from concept to production
- Contribute to the development of new technologies and products
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field (e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in product development and design
- Strong knowledge of high-voltage connectors and related technologies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Fluency in Japanese (business-level) and English (or Chinese) is required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with 3D CAD design and CAE analysis
- Knowledge of product development methodologies and tools
- Experience with customer and supplier interactions
- Fluency in Chinese is a plus
